Mr. Schweizer - Head Coach

In addition to teaching 5-12 Band and Chorus, he is the Head Coach of the Cuba High School Bass Fishing Club. A lifelong fisherman/ outdoorsman, he has fished many waters in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and even the ocean-waters off the coast of the Bahamas. Mr. S fished as a member of the Lincoln Bass Club, where he won tournaments and Big Bass multiple times. The boat he captains is a custom 1994 Tracker Guide V16, with a Mercury Tracker 25hp outboard, MotorGuide trolling motor on the front, and Garmin and Humminbird electronics.
Mr. Bernard Tucker - Volunteer Captain
Third-year captain for the team. He started tournament fishing in the late 90's when his friends talked him into trying it, and was "hooked!" He has fished the Spring Lake Tournaments every year since. He has fished with a few Bass25 and IBC clubs, but looks forward to captaining for the Cuba Bass Team more than anything now, because he says it has gotten him back into really enjoying bass fishing getting to teach the kids. He captains a 2004 Bass Tracker 175 Pro-Team, with a 25hp Mercury outboard, Minn Kota trolling motor, and Lowrance electronics.
Mr. Pat Zimmerman - Volunteer Captain
Third-year captain for the team.
Blake Timmons - Volunteer Captain
A 2014 Cuba HS graduate and first-year captain for the team, Blake fished for the Cuba Bass Team for three years, including high places at Sectionals and other teenage tournaments. He loves to hunt, trap, and fish, especially for bass and muskie. He captains a 16' Lowe with a Minn Kota trolling motor and Humminbird electronics. He prefers fishing topwater, but is also excellent at pitching and flipping jigs and soft plastics.
Cody Pratt - Volunteer Captain
A 2014 Cuba HS graduate and first-year captain for the team, Cody fished for the Cuba Bass Team for three years, including high places at Sectionals and other teenage tournaments, including winning Big Bass at the 2013 Sandwich HS Buddy Challenge Tournament on Clinton Lake with a 6+ pound HAWG.
